Greetings,
Here is my cropped, flux calibrated spectrum of GK Per for 2023-01-09 UT taken with a Shelyak LISA. Balmer emission lines, NIII, He II, and numerous He I lines plus the Sodium D absorption lines are all present. The blended line near 4640Å would appear to be a blend of NIII 4634.2Å and ...

Re: Recurrent nova U Sco in eruption
Adding another night, here is a comparison of flux calibrated spectra over three nights as the V magnitude dropped from 7.957 +/- 0.072 to 10.267+/- 0.025 taken with a LISA and processed using ISIS.

Re: Probable nova in Hercules mag 6.4 !
Hi Christian and Peter,
I measured the V mag at 11.972 +/- 0.024, mean of 12 OBS tonight at date 2459390.710937
Photometry submitted to AAVSO and flux calibrated LISA R= 1060 spectra submitted to ARAS DB.

Re: Nova Sgr 2021 (a)
Hi,
Here is an update on Nova Sgr 2021a from last night. The plot includes my prior observation from 2021-04-08 for comparison. Both spectra are flux calibrated which explains the offset in the graph. I recorded the V magnitude at 11.18 last night and the previous 2021-04-08 observation had it at V ...

Re: Nova Sgr 2021 (a)
HI everyone,
Here are 3 flux calibrated spectra of Nova Sgr 2021a taken with my LISA spectrograph over a 12 day period. The first one was while the nova was still increasing in brightness, the middle spectra was near peak brightness and the last one when the nova was declining in brightness. The ...

HI Paolo,
Sadly, I do not see your images/spectrum on the this forum posting, only your text. I just see a little icon that says Image. I am using Safari as the browser on my iMac and Microsoft Edge as the browser on my Windows 10 PC. I meant to post my most recent spectrum of Nova Per 2020 but the ...

HI All,
Here is my latest spectrum of Nova Per 2020. This is a single 900 sec exposure.

As Paolo and Christophe have noted the target is very dim now. If it were not for the strong Halpha, Hbeta and some of the Oxygen emissions the star would be invisible ...
