Hello,
new interesting target being alerted by TNS https://www.wis-tns.org/object/2024aauu
It is located a few arc seconds from WISEA J053752.10+493717.4, galaxy of m=20 (data NED)
Here is its spectrum after 4*30 minutes of exposure.

SN 2024zue, what an amazin observation
Hello,
on the same night as the observation of AT2024zrq), I pointed the telescope to another target called AT2024zue which had just been the subject of a Discovery Report on TNS: https://www.wis-tns.org/object/2024zue/discovery-cert
I pointed the object (m=19!!!) by aligning the extension of the ...

Re: AT2024bch - a possible bright supernova in NGC3206
Hello,
Here is a spectrum taken last night with the new Alpy 200 spectrograph.
47 days after first detection, sn2024bch develops strong broad Balmer lines due to the very high ejection velocities (mesured at about 8000 km/s)
P cygni profil not yet visible.
Cheers

Excellent reason to continue observations. If it is, it should develop strong broad Balmer P Cygni lines like here

Hello,
Here is a spectrum taken last night. Despite the very low signal noise ratio, we can see a wide line in emission around 4680 A and a short Ha line slighty redshifted. More exposure is required asap. Possible sn type II.
Poor weather conditions : fog and few high level clouds
Cheers

Re: sn2023eoc
Hi Juan José,
Input beam focal ratio of Alpy 600 is f/4. So, this spectrograph is fully suitable to work with a f/4 telescope and needs no additional optics that can introduce chromatism.
Regards
Emmanuel
