Neowise Spectra

A spectra of the Neowise comet, obtained yesterday evening with a LISA spectrometer and C8 telescope. The observation was difficult, since it has been performed between the leafs of the trees of my neighbor... The relative radiometric calibration of the spectra is not very accurate, since I had to u...

Proposal to observe spectra of events detected by the gravit

Hello, Please find below the description of a very interesting and challenging proposal, whose aim is to observe spectra of events that will be detected by the gravitational wave (GW) detectors Ligo and Virgo during the next run starting in March-April 2019 for a year. This proposal is from Olivier ...

Re: Spectra of Quasar 4C 11.69

Hello, This is my second spectra of 4C 11.69, obtained the 7 th of January, 2017. I've also made a superposition of this spectra with the one that I made the 12 th of december, 2016. Except a variation on shorter wavelength, no obvious evolution can be noticed. The quasar was low on the horizon duri...

Spectra of Quasar 4C 11.69

Hello,

This is a spectra of the 4C 11.69 quasar, obtained the 14 th of december, 2016.
My setup is composed of a C8 telescope + LISA spectrometer + Atik 414 camera.
Apart the telluric bands, no emission or absorption lines are visible.

Re: V404 Cyg in outburst

Dear All,

I saw V404 Cyg yesterday in the field of my guiding camera.
I estimate its magnitude around 16 (measurements at 21 H 27 UT and 21 H 47 UT).
It was clearly too faint for my setup to take a spectra.

V404 Cyg in outburst

Dear All, V404 Cyg is going into outburst. Dr Olivier Godet (Midi-Pyrénées Observatory, France) asks for spectra. He adds the following information : the last eruption occured more than 20 years. It is a very bright X ray source (more than 40 - 45 times the Crab Nebula). A multi-wavelength campaign ...

Re: Presentation of Franck Boubault

Presentation of Franck Boubault

Hello, My name is Franck BOUBAULT, and I live in the south of France, near Bordeaux. I use a LISA spectrometer with an ATIL 314L camera for acquisitions, and an ATIK TITAN camera for guiding. The spectrometer is coupled with a classical f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope (200 mm diameter), with a x0....
