Great monitoring.

[OI] 6300 is now obvious, classical evolution during the decline.

Re: T CrB before its new nova event

Recent spectrum

Active state with EW(H alpha) ~ 15 ans EW (He II) ~ 3.5.

Note the complex profile of H beta and He I 5876 with 3 apparent peaks.

This spectrum is a textbook case showing that H alpha is far to be the best Balmer line for astrophysics studies : too much ...

Re: List of Symbiotic with magnitudes

Update with an altazimutal map for Northern observers at 00:00 UT - latitude = 0° (Southern will come very soon!)
The window opened with the hover gives the priority (from 0: very interesting to 3: poor interest) according to ARAS eruptive stars program.
It is of course partially subjective. Do not ...

V1413 Aql in outburst V=10.4

The classical (eclipsing) symbiotic star V1413 Aql is in outburst: V = 10.4 on 05-05-2025

AAVSO B and V bands:

AAVSO_BV.png

The star is well placed for a monitoring of the decline of the outburst, until the next eclipse.

Spectrum secured in 2020 by Pavol Dubovsky during the last outburst ...
