eShel merged orders issue
I am hoping someone might be able to shed some light on a curious problem that appears in the merged orders of eShel spectra processed in ISIS. The artefacts appear as 'bumps' at the points where individual orders meet in a merged spectrum and are particularly evident towards the red end, and almost ...

Alpy at f/3 ?
I have a friend who is considering buying an Alpy to attach to a small Riccardi-Honders telescope at f/3. I presume it will work, not withstanding the possibility of light loss due to vignetting ?

That Dropbox folder is actually on a local disk (ISIS is reading and writing to a local disk, not to the cloud).
I guess it could be worth trying a different location to see if it makes a difference, but it has worked for years this way - so I'm not convinced that is the problem ...
