Re: Hi from nelson, new zealand
The camera is now full spectrum modified with the uv/ir filters replaced with fused silica.
Star analyser spectra look as though overlapping 1st order ir and second order uv might be an issue.

Re: Kia Ora
yes, I know the feeling re isis niggles. If I had access to the code I think I would try to write some better error messages and trapping. things I found so far: - make sure fits header exposure and date fields are present and correct or isis will crash - I'm only doing star analyser spectra so far....

Re: Kia Ora
hey Tom, Do you know many other kiwis doing spectroscopy? I'm in Nelson. I'm just getting started and have got the hang of the ISIS software in the last month or so. But I hope to get a proper spectroscope sorted and in operation on the Nelson Science Society's C14 / CGX, at least before next summer...

Hi from nelson, new zealand
Hi all, I bought a star analyser 100 last year and have been using it on wr78 and 79 recently. Unfortunately my camera is only a dslr with almost zero response in h alpha but I'm in the process of obtaining a cheap secondhand one to remove the ir filters as currently my budget doesn't allow a dedica...
