Re: ISIS processing vv ceph with new Lhires III

Albert To check calibration do not use the star line, as mentionned above the h-alpha has lot of reasons to not be at exact laboratory wavelength: heliocentric earth motion, doppler... The best is to use the earth atmosphere telluric lines. You can superimpose them with ISIS, VSpec... it is the easi...

Re: CX Dra in outburst

Salut Olivier

Yes cx dra is a star which has a profile which evolves quite often. In fact it is a Binary star B3+F5III
Here is the summary view for all the BeSS spectra - evolutions from day to day can be observed. Would worth a look at litterature.

Be Stars on the hot list

For your future observations, I would suggest to add few Be Stars on your list. In addition to gam cas, pi aqr, Pleione, we have a professional request for 28 CMa spectra and if some of you can take some spectra of 12 Aur and V584 Per that would be great to confirm recent BeSS submissions. Thanks Va...

Be ome Cma call for observations

We have a request for observations of the Be Star ome CMa Dear Valierie, My name is Alex Carciofi, I’m a colleague of Thomas Rivinius working on Be stars. Re: Zeta Tauri - my first Be star spectrum

Hi
I do not know about Rspec.
For ISIS, you have to dowload the file, unzip it, then you need to change the extension .FITS into .FIT - That's the trick...
For Visual Spec, you can download the zip file and drag and drop the zip directly on the yellow space of Vspec.
Cheers
