Re: NEW NOU_T ECHELLE RESULTS
Dear Joan, A new great step for your setups! High quality results. The outoff focus technics is very interesting. It will allow to flux calibrate the spectra. The must. I suggest time series of T CrB (one the few symbiotics which shows flichering at minutes time scale) What are the current cameras (...

Re: Nova Men 2022 (AT 2022ufh)
There will be many new novae, especially in Southern Sky.
Cloudy skies is a good opportunity to work on the data -;) and improve his (and OUR) knowledge.
All the best,
François

Re: Nova Men 2022 (AT 2022ufh)
Thanks, Paul! I'm sure François will appreciate on-going observations. Yes! One spectrum of a "new" star (in Human Knowledge) is nothing more than a new object in a collection. It allows its classification and eventually stats. This is the Aristotelian level of science. Medium and long ter...

Symbiotic Nova (Mira) HM Sge: dimming
A RNASS note: Dimming of the Symbiotic Mira HM Sge https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.3847/2515-5172/ac8808 HM Sge shows a very nice emission lines spectrum, looking like a PN Last spectrum in the database (https://aras-database.github.io/database/hmsge.html),secured by Pavol Dubovsky: asdb_hmsge...

Re: Call for observations of the preoutburst phase of T CrB
Hi Rainer, Interesting. But the height of a line is a very poor measure as it depends significantly of the resolution at that wavelength. The measure of the equivalent width (EW) will provide more accurate measures. I suggest using plot spectra (Tim Lester), a very nice tool. http://spectro-aras.com...

Bonjour Didier,
Un sympathique projet collectif!
Quels sont les spectroscopes dont le groupe dispose?
Cordialement,
François Teyssier
