Very interesting all the spectra.
Here is a comparison of two spectra, from July 22th and yesterday. The brightening began 3-4 days ago and the changes are dramatic!
Greetings
Fran

Re: New transcient, perhaps a nova
Bonjour à tous,
très bons tous ces spectres. On doit continuer la surveillance parce que la nova est en train de monter fortement de magnitude: elle n'a pas encore atteint le maximum.
Bien cordialement,
Fran

Re: LT Del outburst (ATel)
Hello, LT Del continues in outburst and the last spectrum I took last night shows a strong intensity increment in the Balmer bands. He I at 5876 A is also stronger but He I (6678A) and He II (4686 A) remain practically unchanged. Interesting... ltdel_ 20170722_946_FPC.png ltdel_ 20170722_946_FPC amp...

V2028 Cyg, another B[e] star, and some symbiotics.
Hello, after quite cloudy nights, yesterday I catched a good one and took some spectra. One of them, V2028 Cyg, shows a complex emission spectrum dominated by Fe II multiplets, specially Fe II 42 triplet. I thnik it can be an interesting target because this star was studied some years ago, but I don...

Re: New transcient, perhaps a nova
Hello, very late, but finally yesterday I could take a spectrum of the nova. Only three shots; these last nights we stand hot temperatures and a very wet ambient, so the sky is often covered by low and persistent clouds. For this spectrum I used HD 179761 as comparison star. Photometrycally the nova...

Re: B[e] star IRAS 17449+2320: call for observations
From Steve, about Photometry: Fran: looks to be a severe issue with instrumental/atmospheric correction François Hi, François I'm quite worried about this issue. The last night, by a suggest of Joan Guarro, I took another spectrum but with two comparison stars: HD 157728 (A7 V, the star I use regul...

Re: Search for SN in NGC6946

VV Cep and some Be stars with DADOS-1200
Hello, here are some spectra of Be stars (already at the BeSS database, except VV Cep) taken with the DADOS and the 1200 l/mm. This night the spectrograph performed particularly well. The resolution from night to night is quite variable (why?) but this night it reached R=7000. It depends of focusing...

Re: B[e] star IRAS 17449+2320: call for observations
Good explanations, François, a bit hard to understand but always interesting. Here is a comparison between two nights. Even at low resolution it is clearly noticeable the changing profile of the H-beta band. But I'm worried about the striking difference between both profiles in the blue wavelengts, ...
