Forum search

Post by Robin Leadbeater »

I cannot get the forum search to work. Whatever I put into the search box it comes back - "This word is too common" (also I cannot search for "Io" because it only has 2 letters  )

Cheers

Correction - "elephant" is ok  but jupiter is too common. Are there really too many posts on jupiter to display them? :? Even putting +jupiter +lisa for example into advanced search does not work

Hi Robin,

I have no solution for you but that seems to be a " too common " problem in the search function of the phpBB based forums.

I also have one forum based on phpBB and there I ahve the same problem

Never managed to get a reasonable result with this search function in my forum ¿?

:D You should search for Saturn and not Jupiter :D :D :D :D
