Hello from Venice, Italy

Hello everyone,
we are a group of four amateur astronomers from Venice, Italy. In the last few years, we’ve been studying emission-line stars taken mainly from the Kohoutek-Wehmeyer 1997 catalogue (KW97).
Initially we did a photometric survey with our 40 cm telescope and the AAVSO Net telescopes, after which we published a paper on the AAVSO Journal (Artusi E., Conselvan G., Tegon A., Zardin D., 2016, JAVSO, 44, 149). Then, thanks to the help of the Astrophysics Observatory of Asiago, we started a spectroscopic survey of a sample of Be stars with a 122 cm telescope; although we hope to continue the collaboration with Asiago in the future, we don’t have such certainty. We now have almost 150 reduced spectra of which we are analysing the emission variations and line profiles.
We would be happy to share our data and possibly have new spectra. We would also like to discuss about these topics and collaborate on a common project with whoever may be interested.
Thank you,
Antonio Tegon
Danilo Zardin
Elisabetta Artusi
Giancarlo Conselvan
