De l'observation du ciel à l'analyse de la lumière : voilà comment je peux résumer mon parcours en astronomie.
Depuis 1985, j'ai été attiré par le ciel : sa beauté et ses mystères.
Pendant 15 ans j'ai scruté les nébuleuses et galaxies au Dobson où j'ai croqué mes cibles sur papier (http://bmauclaire.free.fr/astronomie/astro_draw). Au fur et à mesure des observations, des questions sont nées, d'autres restaient sans réponses. Pour avancer, il m'a semblé qu'il fallait faire parler la lumière. En 1996, je me suis alors lancé dans la spectroscopie qui permet de fournir une véritable carte d'identité physique des astres.

Impliqué dans le développement du logiciel AudeLA (http://www.audela.org), j'ai créé le logiciel SpcAudace (http://bmauclaire.free.fr/spcaudace) pour le traitement et l'analyse des spectres via des pipelines me laissant ainsi un maximum de temps pour comprendre la physique des astres que j'observais.

J'aime les rencontres et la science. Étant présent au congrès pro/am d'Oléron en 2003, je me suis très rapidement impliqué dans des projets de collaboration professionnel-amateur.

Avec la démocratisation de la spectroscopie depuis la diffusion des spectrographes par Shelyak (http://shelyak.com), nous partageons une nouvelle vision du ciel nous permettant de comprendre ce que nous observons. C'est une époque formidable !

Observation of the sky to the analysis of light: this is how I can sum up my tramping in astronomy.
Since 1985, I was drawn to the sky, its beauty and mystery.
For 15 years I have searched the nebulae and galaxies in Dobson where I chewed my target paper (http://bmauclaire.free.fr/astronomie/astro_draw). As to comments, questions have arisen, others remain unanswered. To move forward, I felt the need to make the light "speacking". In 1996, I launched into spectroscopy that can provide real physical identity card of the stars.

Involved in software development AudeLA (http://www.audela.org), I created the software SpcAudace (http://bmauclaire.free.fr/spcaudace) for processing and spectral analysis through pipelines leaving me a maximum time to understand the physics of stars that watched.

I like the meetings and science. Being present at the pro/am meetig at Oleron in 2003, I was quickly involved in projects collaboration professional-amateur.

With the democratization of spectroscopy since the release of spectrographs by Shelyak (http://shelyak.com), we share a new vision of Heaven allowing us to understand what we observe. It's a great time!
