Well I managed to observer 33 more stars last night in the short period when it was clear, about an hour and a half after astronomical twilight. I found two stars in emission which turned out to already be in the BeSS database! However, I did not know this at the time so I feel it proves the concept of finding such stars using such short exposures 60 to 120 secs in an automated search.
I attach the examples of the two stars in emission and one not for comparison.
