Just for your information, I'm planning a time series on CH Cyg between 01:00 - 03:00 UTC tonight (03:00am - 05:00 am CET 2015.04.25), with LHires 2400/mm trying the 15um slit.
(I am obstructed below 40 degree or so, and sun rises at 5:00 am).
If anybody wants to check calibration / instrument above R~10.000, this is a good occasion.
Extra time coverage also appreciated, but you might just waste your time as it's just my own (mad) experiment.
My weather forecast (hope won't change):

Re: CH Cyg serie planned
Done:
Difference to the 1st exposure (every 10 minute, taken a ref.star after only the 3rd shot), generated in IRAF: You can use the absolute Y scale to see the amount of variations (same scale applies to the normal spectrum).
JD increases from bottom to top (JD fraction as label).
I've taken flat and calibration frames before / after the series, then linearily interpolated between them.
Did not see any move visually, calibration lines were overlapping.
Not much change, this was also my 1st try of the 15um slit. Interesting that I could achieve only R~20000 (not only for this object), or I might need a better focusing method.
Cheers,
Peter

Caught it (durig sunrise):
LHiresIII + 2400/mm + 23um slit, 5 minute exposures (save time): (will process it later)
Weather window closed here, somebody should continue in the next 1-2 days.

Currently on this target with my new set up totally remote with eshel spectrograph and RC400 Astrosib.
So I'm going to sleep 3-4 hours before change to another target (Nova Sgr 2015 #2)
