Call for RR Lyr and X Cyg spectra

(En Français juste dessous le texte Anglais)
The campaign of RR Lyr continues and we need your spectra to try to detect short phenomena on this star whose period is 0.566782 days, about 13h36'10 ''.
The acquisition protocol is as follows:
- high-resolution spectrograph like LHIRES III or echelle spectrograph like eShel R> 10000.
- wavelength to observe : H alpha, H Beta, D1, D2, HeI 5876
- Unit time exposure not exceeding 900s (to detect small variations)
- Start spectrum time serie 1h before the maxi spectro and end 1h after the maxi spectro (phi = 0,91) but you can also take more exposures before and after.
The ephemerides of the next maximum are available on the following link:
https://www.pulsating-stars.org/ephemer ... chxPS=ephe
Or here are the maxi of October 2017
[IMG] https://img11.hostingpics.net/pics/1548 ... 102017.jpg [/ IMG]
But it is also desirable to obtain spectra outside the maximun with serial times of 900s all over a night ideally and maybe cover a full period.
Another interesting target to follow: X Cyg (the magnitude ranging between 5.8 and 7.6 during a period of 16.39 days), it is accessible with a LHIRES III and an eShel or Sardine.
It is subject to the manifestation of the Schwarzchild effect and it is thus possible to observe the evolution of the H alpha line during the period (splitting of the lines, emissions in the metal lines, presence of P-Cygni-type profiles inverted non-permanent) around phase 0.458.
One of the aims of the study could be to measure whether the maxima period remains the same ?
The results are to be filed in the database :

- Longueur d'onde à observer : H alpha, H Beta, HeI 5876, D1, D2
https://www.pulsating-stars.org/ephemer ... chxPS=ephe
https://base.pulsating-stars.org
