SF2A eposter about the magnetic star HD57682

Post by Benjamin Mauclaire »

Hello,

This year, SF2A workshop has a dedicated session on pro-am collaborations.
In this context, I made a poster about a survey on HD57682, a magnetic star available in Bess database, that resulted in a article that appeared in MNRAS in 2012:

http://sf2a.eu/semaine-sf2a/2018/poster ... 118_81.pdf

I explain how spectra made by amateurs are used and how magnetic field was characterized with spectropolarimetric data.
Especially since this area is not well known in amateur community.

Cheers,

Benji
