Hi,
This movie is the result of Halpha NovaSCT2017 movements from day 2017 07 26 to 2017 10 29. It's the compilation of 63 observations of this star.
I hope, you like it.
At the moment, the Halpha it's in ascending again.
Friendly, Joan.

Hello,
These three graphs, show, the maximum peaks of the Ha from the day 2017 08 21.820 to the 2017 11 09.727, (where the maximum has been spectacular).
We also see that during the succession of maximums in the Ha, the Hb has been decreasing, (a very relevant example is that of the day 2017 11 03.727, in green). The emission of Faith, has been maintained.
Cheers, Joan.

Great results!
The nova is now fainter as ever
Will it show a new oscillation?

Update of the light curve (not cleaned!) and the ARAS observations

With 235 spectra in the database, Nova Sct 2017 becomes the second best observed nova in the data base
The excellent coverage (almost continuous) allows an excellent study and publication (ongoing discussions with professional teams for that purpose)

All the best,

François

Bonne journée à tous, la nova est de nouveau en outburst. Voici le profil du jour 17-11-2017 et une comparaison avec le jour 13-11-2017 Les deux observations ont été faites avec une forte brume.

Hi,
This movie is the result of 82 observations in the Halpha zone. There are about 160 hours of telescope, from 2017 07 26 to 2017 11 26.
Nova Sct 2017 isn't visible now.

Hi Joan, very interesting animation! This “cyclic” spectral evolution reflects the various rebrightenings occurred until now (h-alpha peak lowering). There's so much information in your profiles for the specialists!

All the best!
Paolo
