Bonsoir,

Et je confirme qu'en H Beta ça a aussi disparu avec une croissance impressionnante de l'intensité.
J'ai enfin traité mes images des 3 dernières nuits et ç'est réellement impressionnant de suivre cette bête-là.
La semaine prochaine s'annonce belle ; j'ai des jours de libres... profitons-en !

Et la nuit continue en automatique ; va falloir que je fasse des piles de fichiers pour voir les changements qui ont l'air assez flagrant à vue d'oeil. Mais l'analyse dira ça.
De même pour tous les fichiers de samedi soir ; là encore j'ai du traitement à faire.

A si, un petit détail ; dans mes images jointes apparaissent quelques "spikes" ; ce sont les défauts de l'images d'étalonnage qui ne partent pas bien au prétraitement. Mais en même temps, ça permet de vérifier que tous les pics se superposent bien donc que l'étalonnage est correct sur l'ensemble des images...

Hello,


Huge change in the spectrum tonight (again!). Halpha is getting very strong and is the main feature of the spectrum (this is where I now check my raw spectrum doesn't saturate). I also had to reduce the exposure time from 180sec to 120sec so I am guessing the nova is brigther now than ever - is it confirmed by phometry?


Anyway, here is my first spectrum of the night which began with a cloudy sky but no a clear and nice starry sky with a bright Moon:

My first small contribution from last night (using LHIRES 1200 at one of the wavelengths I am using for the WR star campaign) shows good agreement between observers (spectra taken within 1 hour of each other) Tonight I have moved up slightly to ~ the Na D lines.

Another from Aust tonight.
I an down to 15 sec exposures to prevent saturation.
The continuum seems mostly unchanged but the H lines are getting much stronger.

you are doing a terrific job! And you are our "alert" for what to look for when we take over in Europe... :-)

If weather maintains ok, I'll be on it tonight - looking forward to see this increasing Halpha emission!!!
