z = (4449.5 - 1215) / 1215
z = 2.6621
et une vitesse relativiste de :
Vr = c x [((z+1)^2 - 1) / ((z+1)^2 + 1)]
Vr = 299792.458 x [((2.6621+1)^2 - 1) / ((2.6621 +1)^2 + 1)]
Vr = 299792.458 x (13.41097 / 14.41097)
Vr = 278 989.38 km/s

Re: CSO1061
Wow! mag 16.4 is faint for an ALPY and a C8. You are getting into high redshifts too now. I can recommend APM 08279+5255 at z = 3.9 if you have not tried it yet.

It is perhaps the wrong time of year though
Cheers

Re: CSO1061
Hello Robin, i'm happy but i would like to do 9 x 900 secondes on this cso1061 for have a better continuum, but many clouds 1h after beguinning... !
For APM 08279+5299 i have make my checklist for try it in October or December.
Exellent your website, good spectra.
