Alpy resolution test on CH Cyg

Hello,
Here is my first trial on CH Cyg (red curve). It appears well in line with the latest input in the Aras data base at low definition (blue curve). It is also compared to the latest high definition input (green curve) to better understand the complex structure of the Halpha line not visible with Alpy.
This test was done to verify the resolution after resent adjustment of the Alpy focus and a better slit alignment. The resolution is estimated at 560 by Isis (my best result up to now…) . Still room for improvement but this is a significant step to improve my setup.
Clear sky.

Well done Daniel! Looking at the profile, resolution seems to me fully in line with Alpy 600 performances. ISIS calculates the R value on the basis of the lamp lines involved in the wavelength calibration. If you like, you can check the R value (lambda/FWHM) of single lamp lines to see how it varies along the wavelength.
