V2028 Cyg, another B[e] star, and some symbiotics.

Post by Francisco Campos »

Hello,

after quite cloudy nights, yesterday I catched a good one and took some spectra. One of them, V2028 Cyg, shows a complex emission spectrum dominated by Fe II multiplets, specially Fe II 42 triplet. I thnik it can be an interesting target because this star was studied some years ago, but I don't know if monitoring continues yet or not. Remarkable the continuum: if correct, the profile grows at higher wavelenghts and I imagine that becomes still bigger at NIR and IR.

AG Dra seems normal, nothing remarkable.

CI Cyg... the Balmer bands have dramatically shrunk compared with 2016. I suppose that it's brightness has weakened from the last year.

And I see some changes in AX Per: the Balmer bands have increased their intensity but the He II at 4685 A is slightly fainter if I compare it with my last spectrum taken in March.
