Here a poster about LISA spectrograph capacities in the field of Sun observation (chromosphere):

An improvised observation ;) . On the paper LISA is not the ideal spectrograph for study sun activity because its low spectral resolution, but... spectroheliography is perhaps possible (it is my feeling) - but not very easy (a limit obsrervation, I love !). For the moment "static" observation is attractive for pedagogic purpose. Its also a fascinating target for a spectrograph and curious observer.
