A few Be stars

Post by Alun Halsey »

Hello,

Having finally got to grips with using ISIS I had a go at a few Be stars over the past weekend. Using a C9.25 with LHires III with 2400 grating and 35 micron slit and ATIK 314L for acquisition camera all riding on an Ioptron CEM60 I had a go at HD 193009,HD 197419,Lam Cyg and QR Vul. All four spectra have been validated and admitted to the BeSS database.

Regards
Alun

Hi Alun,

Good to see you are getting good results with ISIS. (Did you go to the BAA workshop last weekend?) I particularly like it for the high level of automation and good reproduceability you can get

Cheers

Hi Robin,

Thank you,yes I did attend the workshop, very enjoyable and informative session. Much easier to get on with ISIS now that I had a few points clarified thanks to David Boyd :)
