possible dispersion calibration bug in ISIS 5.9.0?

Post by Robin Leadbeater »

Has the way the dispersion equation is calculated changed in ISIS 5.9 ? I am getting a consistent +1 pixel wavelength calibration error when I calculate the dispersion equation from a spectrum and then apply it to the same spectrum. I did not see this with 5.7.

It looks like the change in 5.9 to remove the bin 0/1 anomaly

has affected the way the dispersion equation is applied to other spectra

I am rolling back to 5.7 for now

Robin, the problem is fixed (I hope!). See V5.9.1 version:
