Hi All,

Here is below my spectrum taken yesterday, 12 days after my first "shot". According to the calculation of PRISM, Sn2020hvf should have reached a mag of 12.88. And by comparison with the star just beside (Mag 13.19), Sn2020hvf should be more close than a Mag of 13.

According to Gelato, this spectrum fits well with a Sn1998bu after 9.5 days at Bmax; which is almost the same phase.

Also included, a comparison of my two spectrum.

cheers

Fred

Bon ciel.

Here's my try at this rather bright extra galactic SN (Processed in IsisV5.93), shot from home on my CDK17 on 19May20 (in Red)
and shot from Mt. Pinos, CA on 27May20 (purple) with my CC13 (33Cm aperture classical cassegrain):

I may try it again from Pinos this weekend if the weather holds.
