Autoguide a LISA with a ATIK314L+

Hello,

I have changed the autoguide lens of my LISA (I have used the old I have got before for autoguiding with ESHEL and now, all is good with this instrument and I don't want all breaking).
I don't correctly remember the field I had before but I think with this new lens, the part which is not usable is more important than before (black part on the right of the image that is the edge of mirror).



Please, Could someone, who autoguide a LISA with a 314L+, confirm that the black part on the right edge of image is the same ?

Stephane - While I don't have the same guide camera as you I also see a fall-off in signal to one side of the slit in a similar manner to your image. Regards Andrew

Just to reply myself.
I have made a very little tilt for the envelope where come the autoguide lens.
It is better and the final image of autoguiding is as after :



In fact there is no change for the processing image ... So, sensor of 314L+ is too big to autoguide with LISA !

Voici une image type chez moi. C'est une question de réglage je pense (tu viens de faire un ajustement).

Je ne comprend pas ta remarque sur le fait que l'on ne peut pas guider avec une Atik314L+ ?
Je suppose que tu veux dire que le champ est sur-abondant. Là oui, mais la grande
différence c'est la facilté de pointage et de reconnaisance du champ, ce qui est
fondamental avec ce type de spectro. Pour l'autotoguidage, c'est vrai que c'est assez
lent (perso je le fait souvent en binning 1x1 pour un max de précision - faudrait
que audela fenêtre en autoguidage en fait). Ca le fait.

Oui je confirme ! Je ne manie pas la langue de Shakespeare suffisamment c'est pour ça.
L'autoguidage (via le port ST4) se passe très bien avec la 314L+ mais pas mieux qu'avec une Lodestar 3 fois moins chère. Je l'utilise avec un ESHEL et un LISA et les deux types de caméra fonctionnent très bien.
Le gros plus réside dans le champ qui du coup permet dans plus de 90% des cas de la reconnaissance de champ automatique ce qui est pratique pour un ESHEL mais surtout pour le LISA où les cibles peuvent être très faibles. Pour de la reconnaissance auto de champ, mon but était d'avoir un champ maximum mais en imposant un léger tilt, j'ai donc fini par conclure que ce que je gagnais d'un côté, je le perdais de l'autre et au final ne gagnais rien en taille de champ exploitable.
