Hello,
first try for me on low res. A LhiresIII 150g/mm attached to my old CN212 is staring at V1972cyg, a difficult target in high res but here it is a bright one !
It was only 5s individual exposure for Vega, 10s for Sheliak and here with 600s the signal is strong. I used a PL1_M for autoguiding and i feel it wouldn't be enough for faintest targets, below magnitude 12.
Note the three others stars on the slit producing three other spectra, one is faint, and look at the sky backgroound (half moon) and pollution lines i have over my head.
So if you looking at signal go to low res mode ;)
