Re: v694 Mon
Very nice results with an Alpy.
Good instrumental/atmospheric response.
Spectra will be soon in the data base.
All the best,
François

V694 Mon for Mar 30th.
Halpha velocity plot compared to my last result on Mar 12th.
Maximum velocity now ~2700 km/sec.

Re: v694 Mon
H-alpha radial velocity plot comparisons.
11 and 18 march:

18 and 30 march:

Recently the absorption component has become more "flat-bottomed" (also visible in the 30.017 march observation by Tim).
Jim, welcome aboard! Very nice spectra, congratulations! You can appreciate how the low-res profile of this very interesting star changes, looking at the great animation by Peter (previous page).

Re: v694 Mon
I've been following V694 Mon at high resolution (about 13000) during March. I did not notice much change in my spectra from early March, but I did notice the change seen by others when I obtained a spectrum on 31st March. A deepening of the H-alpha absorption at shorter wavelength / higher velocities. Here is a comparison of my spectra from 17th and 31st March.

Re: v694 Mon
A couple more low resolution spectra of V694 Mon, 31 Mar and 02 Apr UT. The spectra are essentially identical both nights.

That's very good Jim
A well tuned Alpy and a good reduction

Re: v694 Mon
Hello,
here is my last spectrum taken a week ago. After a couple of weeks with no observations, I could take this one. Finally, I have learnt how to present the graphics with ISIS, much easier than with Vspec.
Outstanding all the work you are all doing!
Greetings
Fran
