Bonsoir du tout, le profil de l'observation sur la nuit du 29-08-2017.Je joint également une comparaison entre le 26-08-2017 et le 29-08-2017 où il y a une légère hausse du H-alpha le jour 29-08-2017.

Excellent survey of a very interesting and peculiar nova

Hi,
Although ns2107 brightness goes down. Over the last 24 hours it has increased its emission
Cheers, Joan.

Bonjour, le profil de la nuit dernière et une comparaison dans la région H-alpha avec le jour 01-09-2017. L'hydrogène monte encore. Umberto

Hi all, the nova is undergoing a strong rebrightening. During my last observation, Sep 4, was shining at V mag 10.86 while this evening (Sep 8, ~ 19UT) V mag is 9.76.

The actual H-beta region spectrum exhibits lines (hydrogen and iron - helium?) with a complex P-Cyg profile.

On a low-res spectrum used for flux calibration (by Umberto, same night), I can see P-Cyg profiles on all the Balmer, helium and metals emission lines.

Heliocentric radial velocity of H-beta line (two main velocities, ~-500 and -1000 Km/s):

The comparison with Sep 4 spectrum:

Hi,
This is a complement of Paolo and Umberto's explanations. The Hidrogen emission loses strength.
Joan.

Here is nova sct on the 10th captured with my echelle spectrograph at R = 12000. It is still brightening (V mag = 9.5 on AAVSO) but it is low in the sky and difficult to get good S/N at the blue end..
