Paolo, are you a peculiar feature at 3886 A in your actual data ?
Christian, this is yesterday spectrum:

I don't know if 3886 A small peak is a feature already known (perhaps we can see it in Eric and Robin spectra).

This evening totally cloudy here... :(

Ciao
Paolo

I have clear skies here at the moment, set up with the LHIRES 1200 and waiting for it to get dark. I have a dilemma though. If others are clouded out, what area (s) of the spectrum should I cover as a priority?

In his last message, Steve said :
"In Nova del 2013, it seems that the CN has not appeared but it may yet
and there's every reason to continue at all resolutions"

You hava also NaI D region

Bonnes observations

OK, I will start at Ca II HK, this is easy because it is where I stopped last night. I will then go to Na I D

Cheers

Finally, no clouds tonight, so I would be on the nova with the eshel.

The sky is totally blue ; I will start at CaII H&K then H beta. If I can, I'll make a stop on NaD² and maybe H alpha.
I wonder if I cannot go to OI à 7773 ; it will be fun to try it !

Hello,

there is a good chance that we can get some spectra of Nova Del 2013 from the IAC80 telescope equipped with an eShel on Teide. Here a preview:

In case of bad weather over all of Europe this might be very valuable.
