Echelle & V509 Cas

I thought I would use my echelle to look at rho Cas and V509 Cas. I managed to record some spectra on 3rd Jan but as the temperature was falling quickly it exposed the limitations of the wooden prototype as I got a 0.5 A shift in 40 minutes (see attached images comparing the first and last iof 8 by 300s spectra of V509). So my intention is to use a ceramic floor tile as the main base and insulate the whole to maintain the temperature at least over an hour or so. If this fails I will try some active temperature control.
I was quite pleased with the quality of the spectra for these bright objects and thought they might make a good pair to monitor as they are circumpolar for me. I have found some historic spectra of rho Cas but not of V509 Cas. If anyone has or can direct me to any spectra of V509 I would be very grateful.
Regards Andrew
