Hi
I made a spectrum of 69 Ori saturday 24th Jan 2015 - and I was surprise to see an emission profile. All spectra in beSS shown an absorption one. I double checked my field but you never know...
So if someone can confirm, that would be great !
Thanks
Valerie

Very nice spectrum... and thank you for the confirmation. I did not observe from paris for a while, so I was a little bit "rusty".
The first observation was in feb 2008 and there are 18 spectra since then in BeSS... all in absorption.
Thanks Tim
Valerie

The feature around 6300A in Tim's spectrum is interesting. It looks like a partially resolved molecular band which I did not expect for a hot star. Does anyone know what it is ?
EDIT: It is an O 2 Telluric band of course ! Silly me
