Re: 28 CMa outburst
A spectrum taken early this morning local time with the object overhead but under poor seeing.
R ~ 13,000
S/N > 300
I've uploaded it to BeSS.

Re: 28 CMa outburst
Hello Paul,
Nice spectrum.
Is it a normalized spectrum?
It's important to let continuum's shape natural, it could give informations.
As your wavelength bandwidth is wide enougth, I should put Ha line at a bit blue edge to get He 6678 line.
Cheers,
Benji

Hi Benji,
No continuum removal. Just IR correction.
Cheers,
Paul

Hello
I took a new spectrum of 28 Cma last night and the night before. The Ha emission continusly increase. Relative continuous: more than 5 unit now.
LHIRES 2400T, Telescope Newton 200mm. R=17000. From Abu dhabi, lat=25°N. This star is high is the sky. Alt=35°
