New ground based BRITE campaign

Hi all,
Tony Moffat of the University of Montreal has put together a project that may be of interest. The BRITE-Constellation satellites have scheduled photometric observations on a number of massive stars over the coming months for which ground based spectroscopy is required to 'complete the picture'. The initiative, already underway in Australia with the Southern Amateur Spectroscopy Email Ring (SASER), presents an interesting opportunity, particularly for those with high resolution instruments, to participate in cutting edge science lead by some of the best in the business.
The list of targets includes a significant number in the northern hemisphere, so this project also provides a unique opportunity for northern and southern collaboration and discussion.
Attached is the project brief by Tony - which in itself makes for interesting reading.
While the details of project and data coordination are still to be figured out, there's nothing to stop anyone from starting observations if interested. The initiative has also been announced on the German VdS forum - and if anyone would like to translate this post for our French speaking colleagues, please feel free.
Regards,
Paul
