Bonjour à tous,

Je viens de terminer mon atlas de raies de la lampe Photron Th/Ar qui est utilisé sur les spectros échelle (eShel et ESP entre autre).
A télécharger sur le lien suivant :

Hello everybody,
I just finished my atlas of the photron Lamp Th/Ar lines which is used to calibrate the echelle spectra (with eShel and ESP spectrograph).

Available to download on the following link :

Hi Olivier, a very useful list. I have already found two additional Ar lines to uses with my homemade echelle and a Relco lamp which has helped in an area that was short of lines. I have been using using the line list provided by Richard Walker who kindly sent me the list.

I am actively considering upgrading to a TrAr lamp as I want to do some radial velocity studies of close binary stars and some areas have only a few lines (5 or so).

I did come across this paper http://astronomy.swin.edu.au/~mmurphy/thar/ which prompted my curiosity on how you had built up your list?

I am currently working on temperature control of the echelle enclosure using a PID controller and an air to air peltier cooler/heater once that is done I think the new calibration system will be next.

Regards Andrew

For each order, I try to choose no blended lines with regular spacing between each selected lines. (about 10 for each order). It's not very easy in the red part of the spectrum because they're not many Th/Ar lines in this part of the spectrum.
