Hi,

yesterday I tried QW Sge and it is a difficult target for a 8" telescope: the variable is faint and there is another star very close to it. Here is the result, only H-alpha, H-beta and He I are clearly visible. H-gamma is near the limit of detection. The night was not very clear and, as you see, light pollution from my backyard is considerable.
