ISIS continuum tool - what do the arrows do ?

Can anyone tell me what the arrows in the ISIS continuum window do ?

The left arrow cancels the last modification you made to the response profile when you are smoothing it. I've never used the right arrow.

Thanks David ! The right arrow just re-applies the last change. Obvious really I suppose.
