HD166014 - Omicron Hercules Ha & Hb Spectra
Posted: Thu May 04, 2017 8:39 pm
Here are the latest IS processed spectra, Omicron Hercules, shot with JTW L-200 spectroscope with 1800 l/mm grating, Atik 460ex CCD, through a CDK17 F/6.8 relector.
Ha (7x90sec exposures, 2x2 bin):

Hb (9x180sec exposures, 2x2 bin):

The Ha emission for Omi Her has a nice fork structure with a tiny spike in the middle denoting the main Ha absorption. This Ha spectrum had low-pass gaussian applied to smooth some of the noise in the continuum. The Hb looked more symmetrical, with a unknown absorption feature at 4764.5A.
