In order to best calculate the length of the ring between a LISA and a focal reducer Celestron 0.63, does anyone know the focal length of this reducer ?
I find very different values ​​on the web between 230mm and 298mm.

Le constructeur annonce comme longueur focale 231 mm.
Remarque : Thierry Legaut en a donné une estimation dans son ouvrage "Astrophotographie", 2ème édition, page 48 (environ 240 mm) sans donner une valeur précise.
Maintenant je ne sais pas à quel rapport d'ouverture tu veux travailler. Si c'est à F6.3, l'espace entre le plan arrière du réducteur et le capteur est de 105 mm.
Tu peux d'ailleurs le vérifier (ou affiner le tirage) en comparant la distance entre deux étoiles mesurées sur images, avec et sans réducteur.

The Celestron reducer is 240mm focal length.
You can confirm by focusing the solar image on a card and measuring the distance.
The Meade version was very similar in focal length, but for reasons best known to themselves, they changed it to around 110mm which is not much more than the x0.33 reducer at 80mm.
Use the Celestron version of the x0.63 unless you can get confirmation that a Meade version is the older 240mm focal length.

I will try to measure the focal length of my Celestron reducer as soon as possible and thus to determine the right length of the ring to get a f/d close to 5 with my C14/LISA set up.
