There is an interesting paper in astro-ph today presenting a new census of galactic and extragalactic SySts. They identify 323 known and 87 candidate SySts. Spectral energy distributions constructed using 2MASS and AllWISE photometry are used to classify their types in the S/D/D’ scheme. They also conclude that the Raman scatted O VI 6830 line still presents a strong criterion for identifying a SySt.
