great work Joan!

hopefully the compiled spectra will give someone opportunity to investigate the time evolution of the very interesting H alpha profiles.

It is clear here tonight in nelson, new zealand (but a lot of dew), so I will take a spectrum after I finish on suspected new nova asassn-22hw, if my equipment doesn't short circuit itself.

Robin, Umberto and Hamish,

You know that I only take advantage of the thoughts and procedures of other people, my only merit is to spend my time on it.

That is the star last night from the Piera and SMM observatories, I hope that you enjoy these graphics too.

Best wishes for all of you, Joan.

Here's the evolution of this novae on 4 days.
All spectra taken automatically from Chile (no human intervention except a text file with all targets coordinates) and soon an automatic process for the spectra process with ARP pipeline developed by Matthieu Le Lain (with spec INTI process), a great tool to do in fact automatic spectra (from acquisition to final graph).

Bonjour à tous, la luminosité de la nova a baissé, elle est maintenant de magnitude 11, je l'ai donc observée avec le réseau 600l/mm toujours centré sur le H-alpha.

nice spectrum umberto.

It is interesting that the h alpha profile seems to be gradually transforming to a single peak, although that peak is somewhat offset to the blue side.

Caro Umberto,

I agree with Hamish, nice spectra ! I'll try to do it again tonight, the weather hasn't let me observe it these last two nights..

Joan.

Congratulations. Great results.

After two days issues (initially due to a bad header :x ) the asdb is updated: https://aras-database.github.io/database/usco.html
Please check for the sumitted spectra. Perhaps I missed some of them.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

François

PS: do not forget the very important monitoring of T CrB before its next nova outburst.
and RS Oph returning to quiescence after 2021 nova outburst.

I have taken just 2 spectra of this as the weather hasn't been great. It has dimmed a lot and is now about mag 13. This means the S/N was low for the second spectrum. Taken with my LISA at R=1500
