Du 29 juillet au 3 aoüt 2025, l’Observatoire de Haute-Provence accueillera le stage annuel de spectrographie organisé par l’équipe STAROS Projects.

L’événement est ouvert à tous les possesseurs d’un spectrographe ou à ceux en train d’en fabriquer un, désireux d’apprendre à le mettre en œuvre. Au programme : ateliers pratiques, conseils d’experts, sessions observation nocturnes, de traitement de données (le site est sécurisé et fermé – vous pouvez amener votre instrumentation).

Afin de profiter pleinement du stage Il est recommandé d’avoir une expérience minimale en observation astronomique, idéalement d’avoir déjà pratiqué l’astrophotographie, maîtriser la mise en station d'une monture et être à l’aise avec l’informatique (niveau d’utilisation des logiciels). La langue parlée est le français.

From July 29 to August 3, 2025, the Observatoire de Haute-Provence will host the annual spectrography workshop organized by the STAROS Projects team.

The event is open to anyone who owns a spectrograph, or is in the process of building one, and wants to learn how to use it. On the program: practical workshops, expert advice, night observation sessions, data processing (the site is secure and closed - you can bring your own instrumentation).

To get the most out of the course, we recommend that you have at least some experience of astronomical observation, ideally some astrophotography experience, mastery of how to set up a mount and computer skills (level of use of software). The language spoken is French.

Places are unfortunately limited, and most rooms are double occupancy. Priority is given to first-time participants or those who have not attended many times.
