I was able to take a spectra of this new star tonight with my LISA. It certainly looks like a nova.

He/N nova, I presume.
I hope you can follow up the appearance of the nebular lines

Evolution (compare also with Terry's spectrum):
ISIS processing and display.
The come to be faint (V=13.5 now) and note the very large Halpha itensity peak relative to continuum

Interesting progression.
My last effort was on 26th and showed a similar result

It is probably too dim for me to attempt now. I've got poor weather at present and I don't think it will clear for some time.
