Dear All
This is a new SN found by the BOSS team of amateurs in Australia.
I measured it at V=13.74 last night and have now taken 2 nights worth of spectra. Tonights is better with less noise due to better conditions with no cloud.
Cheers
Terry

Excellent spectrum Terry!
Perhaps a future SN data base in ARAS if more and more observers take SN spectra !?
(Terry, I have well received your latest 2012fr spectrum)
Happy new year,
Christian

Re: SN2012hr in LEDA 18880
I managed a spectrum for this SN last night.
Its a bit more woolly than Terry's effort. I mucked up my calibration routine so this is simply based on the internal neon calibration lamp. Still, it looks a fair match to Terry's work.
Taken from suburban Sydney - 7km from the CBD. 7 x 600s exposures with ST-10XME with LISA mounted on an RC8.
