This is another dwarf nova, as confirmed by the spectroscopic and photometric observations reported in tocp follow up (there is an excellent spectrum taken by a Japanese observatory on 24.106 TU).

Anyway I observe it yesterday at 24.9 TU with Lhires III 150 and C9.25 (due to bad weather I was not able to observe on the first night after discovery):

The spectrum shows the blue continuum and narrow h-alpha emission line.

Clearly a dwarf nova in outburst
Congratulations, Paolo

I too was waiting for weather to clear.
Here is my attempt just a few hours later. The Hbeta line is just visible above the noise.

Great spectrum Tim, congratulations!
H-beta line in moderate emission state (respect to raised continuum) seems common in dwarf novae during outburst.

Ciao!
