ISIS database- are high res spectra heliocentric?

I am checking the absolute calibration of my LHIRES at H alpha but I am finding a ~10km/s offset between the ELODIE spectrum c_Vega.fit in the ISIS database and my reduced spectra (calibration checked using tellurics and heliocentric corrected using ISIS) The fits header does not include any observation details so I do not know if the database spectrum is heliocentric or not.

Cheers
Robin

Hi Robin,

here it says, that the spectra are in the topocentric reference frame, so without heliocentric correction:

Greetings from OHP, right at the source of these spectra,

Martin

Thanks Martin,

I knew the spectra come out of the archive uncorrected but I wondered if Christian might have corrected them before including them in the database (There is no carried over observation date in the header so it cannot be corrected subsequently). I took another one from the archive and corrected that. My corrected spectra line up well with it so am happy that all is working ok :)

Clear Skies to everyone down at OHP and say hello to ELODIE 's younger sister SOPHIE who was only a baby when I was last at OHP
