units for line strength - absolute flux

The units for line strength given for Nova Del 2013 here
http://www.astronomie-amateur.fr/feuill ... 13Del.html
are given as erg/cm2/s/A. As we are integrating the flux over the line profile should the units not be just erg/cm2/s ?

Cheers
Robin

Looks that way to me Robin. If you integrate up the density of an object over its volume you get it's mass in kg not in kg/m3.

Thank you Robin.
You're right : the flux is integrated for the whole line in respect to wavelenght, the unit is erg/cm^2/sec
