Hi,
Most recent observation attached. I should have stated originally that we're able to calibrate to 9122A.
Good structure and changes in the NIR.
Regards
The FS1 Team.

Re: PNV J17261813-3809354
Hi Guys, Just a quick submission for PNVJ17261813-3809354. This is from the Watson 24" PlaneWave at Obstech, La Sauce, Chile using the remote automated FlexSpec1 spectrograph at R=1750. This instrument is still in its commissioning phase but given the interest in this object I thought these obs...

Lowspec3 additions
Just a quickie to show the most recent incarnation. A commercial 55mm lens in place of the 'standard' 30mm diameter doublet. (Upper and lower covers removed for clarity). Much better end-to-end focusing across the visible range. This looks to be a marked improvement. Look how much space it frees up ...

UVEX3 AG Peg
Hi,
Added the CalibrexV2 to the UVEX3 and took this from my first session.
A few "teething" problems with the Calibrex but nothing major.
Regards
T

Re: UVEX3/CALIBREXV2
PS guys...
The LEDs are very bright! I could read my street's signs when taking dark frames with the blue LED illuminated.
Is this a fault with the LEDs I bought or have you experienced the same thing?
I think they may need to be attenuated.
Regards
Tony

Re: UVEX3/CALIBREXV2
AG Peg with the UVEX3/Calibrex. Not yet quite happy with the screen placement for Flats but I'm close to getting that sorted.

Re: UVEX3/CALIBREXV2
Hi Terry, the photmetric slit is virtually the same mount/position as the Alpy air-spaced 'wheel'. They're interchangeable. I might be wrong but it'll be very difficult to shoe-horn anything else in there! The dimensions of slit-mirror-guide lens distances are very tight and you'll be hard pressed t...

UVEX3/CALIBREXV2
Hi Guys, The photos below shows my UVEX3 and Calibrex guiding/calibration unit. It works astonishingly well. A few mods of course (!). Two x 50mm focal length doublets in the guider for better quality images, a Shelyak photometric slit used instead of the Alpy and a "larger" servo power bo...

Re: New UVEX3 N3-N4-N5
Hi Alain, Thank you for your response. I can confirm that the servo I use is a 5V MG90S and that I'm using a 78L05 in the diagram you posted. I've used a separate, direct, ground but still nothing. The servo just "ticks". When I provide a separate 5.3V supply the servo works perfectly. Per...

Calibrex
Hi Guys, I've built the Calibrex (to go with my UVEX3) and all is well - except one thing... I can't get the servo to move. The servo works for other Sketches. I changed the servo just in case. I've provided separate power to ensure it's not the PCB. The 78L regulator has a 4.98V output which shows ...
