Re: Symbiotic stars: AG Dra, CI Cyg, ZZ CMi
I am sorry Francois, the Ha-crop is not scripted, just used simple 'paint' tool of windows 7 for now, cut & paste from a magnified double plot from ISIS, scaled Y minimum from 0.5 to get wav.scale axis closer. Not familiar with scripting ISIS yet, maybe with time. At your resolution now I'd rath...

ZZ CMi: H-alpha shrinked, no split at this resolution anymore:
AG Dra has not changed much (small increase of Ha and He lines):
T CrB - small Ha-shape change:

Re: BF Cyg
Update from last night: BFCyg_0324_0411_psomogyi.png I have noticed some instability of my calibration, guessing the polynom can deviate near edge of the image (here ~6250A) whilst RMS < 0.02, it would be nice in ISIS could draw a graph for checking the wavelength function, similarily to IRAF where ...

Re: U Gem in outburst
Tim, I just realize how much better to see CVs in logarithmic scale! Also good to see the values in absolute! Paolo, Shame on me, but I've just detected a -1 hour skew error in all my spectra of that day (left a wrong setting in ISIS that time). Let me publish here the fix, I think 22:15 (2457085.42...

Re: U Gem in outburst
I have created an animation of the last U Gem outburst using the ARAS database, combined with AAVSO chart: _ugem_20150221_0310_anim.gif Mostly scripted, but the date at red lines are still put there manually, I plan to calculate that precisely by JD in future. All specrtum made to common mean except...

Symbiotic stars: AG Dra, CI Cyg, ZZ CMi
AG Dra: _agdra_20150328_992_psomogyi_annot.png Lines identified via VSpec, but I could just guess whether the one around 5015 is He (my choice) or Fe. Calibration was very hard because noticed I've put in the Neon only (used 8 lines, RMS=0.08773, order=2). Won't do next time. CI Cyg - I was curious ...

Re: Raies d'émission inhabituelles, pollution ou autre ?
One more thing, I may forgot to mention. When you get over the hotpixel / cosmic ray problem, your green line will still leave a nasty trail (I have such only above 13-14 mag resulting as a ripple): _V250.png As you can see, there's a little rotation error, as well as some pixel arithmetic error alo...

Re: Raies d'émission inhabituelles, pollution ou autre ?
I've reproduced similar (with RMS=17 as just given 5944.83A = 687 (pixels). There are 2 cases: 1) with cosmic ray enabled, I get this: _V250.png Result is very similar to what we seen above. Reason is obvious, at undersampled lines filtered (wrongly). You can repeat checking your _V250.FIT downloadi...

Re: Raies d'émission inhabituelles, pollution ou autre ?
Hubert, I've downloaded, tried to reproduce but missing hotpixel list prevented me in a usable recreate (hotpixels appearing as spikes). Slant angles vary between 1.5 - 1.8 depending where/how do I chose them but I don't expect it caused such trouble. I suggest playing with 'Binning zone adjustment'...
