Hi all,

10x180s exposures of CH Cyg on 2015/08/22.
CH Cyg Halpha profile is quite stable.

It might be very thin veils (though SNR was exceptionally good this time), but I'm not aware of any H2O line at the right peak gash (LHires 2400/23um slit) that seems to be a new feature comparing to my past observations:

The left peak returned to equal when star reached a tree, obstructing further observation.

EDIT: accidentally used a raw flat instead of reduced one, uploaded a corrected animation (no real change, my statements valid).

CH Cyg was not at rest yesterday (2015.09.20, 31 x 5 min):

I had to discard the 24. exposure due to cosmic ray has hit directly the H-alpha region, that has been interpolated by (23+25)/2 here.
Sky was poor at this time, so as the SNR.

2D (33% shrink by X, 300% enlarged by Y):

Interesting to see the faint afterglow continued on the other(R) side.

Cheers,
Peter
